Overview
Teaching
Key qualifications module for ongoing teachers (LSQ) - Heterogeneity and inclusion (Part B)
Students for teacher education from all types of schools complete a specific key qualification module for teachers, the LSQ module!
The LSQ module Part B (Heterogeneity and Inclusion) is dedicated to central questions of the educational science discourse on inclusion and exclusion in schools and (subject) teaching. In addition to an examination of social and school-specific dimensions of difference and the associated obstacles to academic and social participation in school and teaching, students will learn about and discuss the contradictions and challenges of inclusion in a segregated school system.
Secondary school and grammar school teaching students attend a lecture and a seminar. Elementary school and special needs education students attend a second seminar instead of the lecture. A portfolio is submitted as part of the module.

Research
The research activities of the work area focus on questions of inclusion and exclusion in the school context. Based on the question of the extent to which school and teaching enable or disable participation, the biographical relevance of experiences of non-/disability and de-/normalization of various actors in the school, the formal organizational structures and/or practices in school and lessons are in the center of analysis depending on the specific research project. Based on the findings, perspectives for pedagogically professional action and inclusive education are also discussed.
