About us
The CTE coordinates the different areas of teacher education and mediates between all associated faculties. It ensures the implementation of the federal state’s guidelines for teacher training and offers numerous courses, workshops and further training opportunities for students and teachers working in schools. Among others, it encompasses the Administrative Office, the Office for Field Experiences and Examination Office.
We are always looking to expand our international network. It already includes a number of school, universities and other educational institutions worldwide. We are always open to suggestions for new partnerships if you are interested in an international cooperation. Follow the link for further information on international partners (link).
To be able to offer diverse possibilities for field experiences abroad we are searching for pedagogical institutions:
- that are willing to accept students of the MLU to take part in field experiences for several weeks.
- that can provide a mentor from their staff for methodological and pedagogical support.
- that can give students the opportunity to participate in social and cultural aspects of the institution’s work.
- that will, together with the students, reflect on the students’ work and give them an evaluation after the field experience.
